Which will perform better in games : Intel Pentium g3258 paired with gtx960 or intel broadwell 14nm processor core i5 unlocked with intel iris pro 6000 integrated processor graphics

Solution
g3258 with gtx960 by a mile. Intel's integrated graphics are not really usable for gaming, except really old games and even the the drivers aren't very good. Seeing as you already have the Pentium, get the GPU now and you can consider a CPU upgrade later.

From a graphics point of view, the broadwell graphics are not quite as good as a GTX750. For graphics, a GTX960 would be superior.

From a cpu capability, the broadwell cpus are in the price range of the 4690K and 4790K and priced similarly.

If your cpu+graphics budget is in the $300+ range, you would be best off with a GTX960 near $200, and a I3-4160 in the $120 range.
The good thing about that approach is that you will have a compatible upgrade path to either better cpu or better graphics.
A budget balance of one part cpu$ and two parts graphics$ gives you a balanced gamer.
