Broke USB 3.0 pins will this affect anything else?

So, I broke some usb 3.0 pins, doesnt bother me considering I can get a pcie usb 3.0 adapter for $20. I'm wondering if this will affect anything other than the fact that I cannot use one of my USB 3.0 ports? because I heard some pins are for grounding and I broke 2 of them

I don't think the fact that they are broken will affect anything as long as they aren't touching each other or the case or anything in electrical contact with the case (bracket etc).

This is the USB 3.0 header that connects to the motherboard to power the cases ones
