Hey im new to Toms Hardware so firstly Hello im Callum

I was recently cleaning the dust out of my Zotac GTX 1070ti Amp Extreme Edition when my hand slipped and snapped off a fan blade

I have two possible solutions in mind but the second one is proving to be a nightmare to research

1) I glue the fan blade back on but i fear that it might just fly off and do more damage

2) Buy a new fan and install it but i am having trouble finding the exact size of the fans and while i know i could just remove my graphics card and measure it i havent got the time to take my pc offline due to uni deadlines
(If you happen to know please let me know) i have enough money (i hope) to buy a replacement fan.

So what do you think is the best course of action?

Gluing it back on is a no-no. Fans spin too fast for it and there's really no guarantee it'll stay on for long anyway.
TH did a review on the card you have and the fans are 87mm, which is certainly nonstandard(closest you can get is 92): https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/zotac-geforce-gtx-1070-ti-amp-extreme,5337.html

I guess your best bet is to see if you can remove the broken fan somehow and adjust your fan curve to keep the card cool(usually on cards like this the coolers are a bit overkill).
