So, yesterday I bought the seidon watercooler for my MSI 970 gaming motherboard, so I decided to install it right away without warming up the machine first, I took a hairdryer and used it on the socket to warm the thermal paste so I could remove the fan without damaging the CPU, but it wasn’t comming off no matter what I did so I decided to put just a little strength in and pulled the cooler out of the socket, I thought everything was fine until I glanced at the socket and realized the CPU was missing, it was at this moment that I knew, I messed up. So I removed the CPU gently with a screwdriver by pushing from underneath and tried reinstalling into the socket, the lever was still down so I lifted it up and installed both the a CPU and water cooler correctly. But upon pressing the startup button I realized, all the USB ports were non responsive and the monitor displayed no video. I tried clearing cmos by the pins and battery, trying another CPU, cleaning the Ram and the Gpu’s connectors, starting with only one stick of Ram, then I removed all Ram and waited for the beep noise that never came out of the system.

I already bought another Motherboard through the Internet but I have been wondering if there’s something else I can try to revive the board?

Thanks in advance.

Solution
the way you put it out with bracket lock have break the board base for cpu you might also have broke some pins on it so that will render him obsolete with the board you gone have to get a new cpu and board .
