I've been playing some games, at idle the CPU sits at around 30-40 but when I game some games like CSGO or GTA V, 3-5 minutes after starting my CPU starts clogging, it drops to around 1400 MHz and the readings say that the CPU's at 206C, even though my motherboard reads less than 60C. How can I fix this? I can't play without lagging immensively, it started recently.
MY PC:
AMD FX-4300
MSI GeForce GTX 750 Ti OC
MSI 760gm-P23 FX
1 TB Hard drive
8 GB Ram
500 Watt power supply (Came with the case)

Solution

I looked in to your problem more online and it turns out people with AMD CPU's are having a very similar issue.
Here is a link to a forum where people discuss this problem, hope this helps: https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?topic=162839.0

I find it odd because, when I restart my PC and go into BIOS, everything's normal.
