Broken CPU Fan Connector on Laptop

I recently opened up my laptop to clear the fans and reapply thermal paste, but apparently I broke the fan connector on my motherboard. Will using a splitter on my GPU fan connector work? I have no knowledge of soldering, but will it be necessary/worthwhile to hire somebody, and would it be risky? Thank you.

If it's a decent laptop it would be worth to get it repaired. It's little job but with a lot of disassembly and reassembly as MB has to come out.
