Broken first monitor set to main

I have 2 monitors but my one which is set to main won't turn on it just says no display so how do I set my second to main because when right click and open anything it just goes to my first monitor?

I can't because nothing shows up my first monitor it is just black and my second has just my background

Disconnect first monitor from your computer and it should auto-reconfigure to use the one monitor

Yeah it does but I need to have to have both plugged in because I am trying to update the driver on my first one because it is not working

After it has adjusted to single monitor, open the Screen Resoution window (right click on desktop), then reconnect the monitor and configure it as second display, then add driver, then set it to how you want.
