Question Broken gpu?

For a while now my pc has been having issues such as crashing or freezing making a buzzing noise then going back to normal. What I have read was it’s my gpu but I’m still not sure because sometimes I can’t post and the. Other times windows fails to load. I have a 1060

I’m not quite sure how to figure that out . I have 16 gb ram 2666 i5 8400 and that’s all I know
