I have this gaming pc which I have never had issues with. Last week, I was playing civ 5 I think and suddenly my monitor went black. ( my monitor works on other computers).
I restart the pc and I saw the boot up screen followed by the windows logo as usual. But when i usually get the log on screen i get this screen filled with weird colors/artifacts type of thing. This screen is frozen there. Nothings moves. The computer runs underneath i can click on thing but it.
How can I determine what is the problem? I was thinking that it may be my graphics card but I want to make sure before buying a new one.
