Broken Headphone Jack Need Help

So I broke my headphone jack after tripping over the cable from my headphone while it was plugged into my headphone jack. (don't worry doc says I'll be fine). The problem is that it won't hold in the 3.5mm wire and it will just fall out, if I hold the wire in a certain position it still works. I see about 2 ways of fixing it; gluing all the plastic bits back together or buying a new part. I don't know what part it is I need to buy and also the cable attached to the chip (right term?) is not so easy to unplug. The case is a Fractal Design ARC Midi R2.

The one on the right is broken. Is this fixable? Can I buy this part? Hope you can help as I used this jack everyday and can't really listen to audio with it broken right now. Thanks for the help!

That looks like a standard PCB mount jack socket,you will need to buy a new one ,desolder that one from the Printed Circuit Board and solder in the new one.

Considering I've never soldered is there a part with everything soldered on and ready to go just like in the picture (except not broken lol). If not then I'm guessing I'll need to take some soldering classes haha. Thanks for the reply.

you can use the rear jack audio. or you can use the extention 3.5mm audio cable 😀

I'll need to buy a longer 3.5mm cable but it is way more convenient for me to be able to plug in the cable to the front since I switch from headphones to speakers a bit often using it and the placement of my computer makes it more difficult if I want to plug in from the rear. Thanks for the reply, I might need to go this route while I figure out how to fix the front.

Have you tried getting the part from Fractal Design.

I've contacted Fractal Design about my issue so now all I can do is wait for a reply from them and hope it's right. Thanks for the reply.

I got a longer aux cable to plug in the rear since my headphone's cable is replaceable, but that's a great idea if I can't figure out how to fix it. A usb sound card is another possibility. Thanks for the ideas.

Fractal Design got back to me and said they'd be shipping me the part needed. That would work, although it might be a bit too much considering I only need the audio ports. Thanks for the help though!

After contacting Fractal Design they were nice enough to send the part free of charge. I ripped out the old one and slapped the new one on and all is good! Thanks everyone for the suggestions and help. Really appreciate it!
