This is an old computer, but everything works.

Today, it no longer boots, and it doesn't output the display.
I did some tests and found out that the RAM slots or sticks are faulty
(Every fan spins normally, no beep, shuts down after about 25 secs later.)

And if no ram is installed, the mobo speaker will beep.

Before buying new mem sticks, i would like to know which one of them(ram slot, ram sticks) is broken

Hopefully not the slots. 🙁

Solution
Problem solved,
I tried to fry the mobo by pluging a random psu wire into a random port. So it produced some smoke and later when I unplug the wire and start it again.
NO MORE SHUTDOWNS! (Up for 4 hours now )Somehow frying the mobo a bit solved my problem. Hopefully this old desktop lasts a bit longer.

hard to say, motherboards for chips like that are really overpriced as they are hard to find now. it might be worth it to go for a i5 4690K and z97 board. but that would involve around $300.
