Broken Nvidia GPU?

First time asking a question as created threads have answered my questions.

I have been having terrible frame rates when playing games like R6, Overwatch,Doom ETC. These games have ran near flawlessly before yesterday and I've never had a hiccup on frame rates. I recently bought a Razer Deathadder Elite and after plugging it in experienced heavy frame loss. After adjusting a few settings on the graphics card and resetting, the problem went away. I went from having 60-120 frames to 15 and lower. I have no clue if this is because of the mouse or some other setting interfering with my GPU? Or maybe something unrelated. Even on low settings R6 gets 15 or less frames. Any help would be appreciated.

Specs - MSI G series laptop
Intel i7 6700HQ cpu @ 2.60 GHz
16 gigs of ram
Nvidia Geforce GTX 965m

Solution
Im not sure how gamong laptops with a gpu work but make sure you haven't switched your primary graphics adaptor from your gpu to integrated ones.

Temps have not changed and not much happening with the GPU itself. Is it turned off? Not being detected?
