Broken Pcie Slot - Is it ok to use the second pcie slot?

So i achieved to broke my first pcie slot (broken pins) .I got new graphic card (gtx 1060).Is it ok to use the second pcie slot. I know that is slower than the first but i dont mind.Is there any chance the first pcie slot affect the second one?
