My motherboard has a broken pin (the pin is gone) on pin 1 slot (the +3.3v pin) of the 24 pin PCB power socket. Thought about replacing it, but I've tried desoldering the connector and the motherboard seems to have some invincible high-temp solder that my 40 watt soldering iron doesn't want to melt regardless of how much flux or solder I throw at.
So, I'm here to ask, could the motherboard still work functionally without the +3.3v pin? I realize it's probably not smart, but figured I'd ask on here before frying whatever CPU, RAM, or graphics card I decided to test it with.
Also, do you think jerry-rigging the situation by shoving a pin into the corresponding male end of the power cable will work, or would that be unadvisable?
Here's an image in case it helps understanding the situation:

Thanks in advance.
