Broken pins URGENT

I used to jump start my pc...then I go to vacation and after I came home and found out that one of the front panel pins that I used to connect in order to start my pc was broken ....are there any ways to launch my pc or I have to buy a new motherboard? Thanks in advance and sorry for my bad grammar

Since you seem to be comfortable with directly touching pins and stuff, you can just solder a piece of wire to the broken pin, even if it's gone, there's no way you could have broken the whole thing down to the motherboard's PCB. If not, you can always jumpstart the power supply, but it would be more annoying because you won't be able to control shutdown from the OS. Not a big deal if you are already at this point. Just connect the green wire to any black wire on your PSU, if they are not colored, just search online for the ATX pinout and see which one is supposed to turn it on.

Just connect the green pin to any black (ground) pin. You have to keep it like that for the computer to turn on, the motherboard does this on its own with just a quick press, but doing it directly on the PSU requieres you to keep the connection in place.

I connect the green to the black wire but after how am I suppose to turn on the mobo ...I have to connect the psu wire to the mobo ?

You have to join them from the back of the 24 pin connector while it's plugged into the motherboard.

Imagine that's your computer, just use a paperclip or a piece of wire to connect those 2. Any black will do, and there's only one that's green. I'd suggest you do this with the PSU disconnected from the power cord (or if it has a switch, keep it off first), make sure the clip or wire went all the way in and it's touching the metal and then put the power back into the PSU. It will turn on as soon as you connect it, just be careful not to let it slip off as you could end up shorting other components.

As I said, I do NOT recommend doing this as there's too much risk involved, but it works.

Man thank you so much ...that really worked ...I managed to open my pc ...After a couple hours of use I wanted to close it so I pulled out the psu cord ...then I plugged it in and now the fans spin at max rpm but the pc won't start up ....what can I do to solve this

I don't exactly understand what happened now, but if for some reason it's not posting anymore, just unplug everything and start all over. It may be that the paper clip or whatever you used was not very tightly placed into the pins and just a little interruption could be enough for it to stay that way. But not a big deal, it should turn back on if you let it all "discharge" for about a minute of being disconnected from the power cord and doing it all over again.

I'd suggest now that instead of unplugging the power cord, just use the switch in your PSU.
