So today I came home to my younger brother wondering what was wrong with my computer I had built.

I opened up my PC and I noticed where my main HDD was plugged into had been broken off. (One which I had windows 8 installed on)

So I unplugged it and took out my storage HDD which was a laptop hard drive. Then I plugged my main HDD into that Sata port.

Now all I get coming up on my screen is Reboot and Select proper Boot device or Insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key.

Now before I took out my backup HDD I got a Windows 8 error code 0xc000000e. What was weird was as soon as I took out my back up which windows had not been installed on it didn't come up anymore.
Instead the Reboot and Select proper Boot device or Insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key. screen came up. Anyone know how to fix? I tried formating but for some reason my CD drive won't read any of my CDs

The SATA I have my HDD reads it when I go into click bios (I have an MSI board). If there was a problem with the SATAs crossing out They would not read I believe. But I keep getting this black screen with the letters reboot and select proper boot device. I tried booting off of CD(Which the motherboard reads as well) but that screen keeps coming up. Its like windows was completely wiped off of the HDD. Maybe my CD is scratched up and won't read. I have no idea what to do.
