That depends on what is broken. Start by deleting the contents of the
cache and temp folders. If that doesn't work you can try working with
the save game folder.
If you look in your save game folder you will find a bunch of files.
The .bmp files are images, the .gam and .sav are the game data, and the
..wmp is the record of explored map areas.
I've saved a game by deleting the worldmap.wmp before. The only effect
I noticed is that you will need to re-explore previously known areas.
The game would probably survive deleting the baldur.bmp file, as this is
just the picture next to the save game and is only a snapshot of the
area when the game was saved. I would expect that you could delete the
other .bmp files, though you would need to reload the image files
somehow. Shadowkeeper would work as would dumping then rejoining the
character.
Try renameing one file at a time. Load the game, if it works, then you
are done, otherwise restore the file name and try another one.
