Hello, I have an old Kingston xs2000 ssd, that seems to be broken. Whenever I try to connect it to the laptop (and tried with several cables and several laptops) nothing happens. It is not detected by the operating system (tried from macos, win11 and win10), the flash light doesn't turn on. Is there any not too xomplicated way to fix it, or how should I approach this issue?

It may just be....broken.
It happens.

Is there any hope to recover the data?
This is why we preach backups so much around here.

Recovery depends on how, exactly, it is broken.

This is an external SSD?
Unless there is a semi normal drive inside that enclosure, and it exposes a standard SATA III or NVMe connection...you are out of luck.
Maybe if you spent a few hundred $$$ on a data recovery company. (with NO guarantee of success)

Is this thing still under warranty?
