Question Broken tiny pieces -- dangerous?

Hi all,

While installing the DDR4 memory, it seems that somehow I managed to break two tiny pin-like pieces on the memory slot (G.SKILL Trident Z), you can see the image here (red circles highlighting 4 of those, this is not the module with the broken ones shown here):

Those are not the actual RAM pins that connect to the motherboard, they're sitting a bit above.

Does anyone know what those pins are used for and whether I should be worried? The RAM stick seems to be working fine at the moment.

Still hard to tell, but those aren't pins I don't think. More likely they are solder points for something. Really, there is nothing on a memory module that isn't critical, so it's surprising that it's still working and if it is, then use it, but if you start to notice ANYTHING unusual, you may need to replace them.
