broken usb connection

the usb port broke inside the external hard drive case . I opened the case and cant soder the parts togother .Can I hook the hard drive to my computer

You may be able to install it as an internal drive, or buy a third-party enclosure for it. Be aware though that the data interface on some factory-made external hard drives have a proprietary interface that won't accept a standard SATA or IDE connector.
