I tend to be wary of buying multifunction machines. Not so much
because they're necessarily bad, but because many manufacturers tend
to abandon support for them more quickly than for their separated
device machines. Before buying one, I'd suggest you have a look at
the website of the manufacturer and see how the driver support is for
their older models on newer operating systems. If many or all of
their older multifunction devices have driver support stopping at
win98SE or winME, I'd consider that a warning sign.
