So, at work, I had an ads 1200 that would scan long paper at 600 x 600 DPI. I think the software it ran on was "Brother Control Center".

I have a new one for my home office, same model, but the software I had at work is no longer on their site. Instead, they have "iprintscan" that does NOT allow me to scan long paper at 600x600.

Anyone know what gives? Did Brother cheap out and start making inferior scanners to the one I had from 2016? Or is there an alternate software program I could use that would circumvent this issue?

How much RAM did they have at the office and how much do you have?
Scanning is being done without compression so a 600DPI document will need a lot of ram, and the more there is to scan the more ram it will need.

Also DPI is dots per inch so do you maybe mean something else with 600x600 is that the size of the paper maybe?
