My Brother MFC-8840D shows "Paper Jam" message without any real paper jam.
What is the problem, and how to fix it?
Thank you.
Vincent.

Clean the paper path thoroughly -- these warnings are initiated by mechanical and optical detectors -- the latter give false alarms if dirty, the mechanical ones can jam.
Also make sure you open and close both the paper drawer and the toner hatch when an error message arises -- or at least that's needed with my Kyocera laser printer.
