[SOLVED] Brother MFC-J5730DW printing problem

Hello
Just bought a new Brother MFC-J5730DW printer and soon discovered it won't print in grayscale/black and white.
All black and white photos/images come out with a blue tint. Colours seem fine.
Anyone know what the problem is? Could the ink supplied with the printer be out of date?
Printing from a Mac. Any ideas on fixing the problem are much appreciated.

Many thanks for the reply and the links, the first link really helped.
I found you can get an acceptable black and white photo print by adjusting the colour setting or balance before printing,
instead of printing greyscale.
I think this particular machine only prints true black (black ink only) when using plain paper.
I guess it uses all the inks when printing on photo/matte etc paper, meaning you have to adjust the settings first.
Not that much of a problem, but they don't make it easy finding these things out.
