Brother printer software not installing

I'm installing a printer: Brother MFC-J485DW. The problem is when the software is installing, the green bar does not move. It just stays in one place that's why I couldn't install the printer.

1| Can you please pass on your culprit system's specs inclusive of your OS?
2| Have you tried waiting it out to see if the installation does indeed finish after an X number of hours? Did you try downloading the drivers from their support site?
3| I'm going to ask you to make sure your chipset and USB drivers are up to date and in the process recheck how you've connected the printer to the system.
