Question Brother printer wont detect ink

Hello, I have a brother mfc-j6920dw. The problem is that i am using the OEM innobella ink buyed from brother itself. But when I installed it it shows that it cant detect the ink reinstall slowly. This is a new cartridge and opened today. This is happening since I installed the new firmware for the printer.

Have you tried to reset the printer to factory default settings?

Brother and Epson keep pushing firmware updates just to prevent users from using 3rd party ink. Those firmware updates do not offer any features or fixes and are just creating other issues.

I just contacted Brother about someone that installed a firmware update and stopped the printer functionality. It was under warranty, so they're sending a replacement.

I usually don't install them unless is a firmware that offers features that I need of fix a issue I encountered.

No didn't work. I regret so much doing that firmware update😑
