Hi All,

I have just brought myself a 750GB Samsung 850 EVO and I want to move everything from my current 120GB SSD which has the OS and World of warcraft with lots of addons on it and everything on my 1TB HDD which is only using 100GB onto this new drive. how would I go about doing this with messing it up?

For a successful cloning operation:
-----------------------------
Verify the actual used space on the current drive is significantly below the size of the new SSD
Download and install Macrium Reflect (or Samsung Data Migration, if a Samsung SSD)
Power off
Disconnect ALL drives except the current C and the new SSD
Power up
Run the Macrium Reflect (or Samsung Data Migration)
Select ALL the partitions on the existing C drive
Click the 'Clone' button
Wait until it is done
When it finishes, power off
Disconnect ALL drives except for the new SSD
Swap the SATA cables around so that the new drive is connected to the same SATA port as the old drive
Power up, and verify the BIOS boot order
If good, continue the power up

It should boot from the new drive, just like the old drive.
Maybe reboot a time or two, just to make sure.

If it works, and it should, all is good.

Later, reconnect the old drive and wipe as necessary.
Delete the original boot partitions, here:

-----------------------------

Later, reconnect that 1TB HDD and copy whatever you desire from it to the new 750GB SSD.
Depending on exactly what is on the 1TB HDD, this may prove to be a bit of work.

Backup Large Files and Media to Some-other External Hard disk.
Use Cloning Software to Copy your OS and other Installed apps from HDD to SDD.
you will be needing a SATA to USB connector. Or you can plug in both in same system and clone it.

I do not have an external drive to back things up to at the moment.
