Browsers can't connect to internet, but skype is working

I have this problem from some days - all my browsers (chrome, firefox, internet explorer) can't connect to internet, but skype is working properly. Some ideas?

check you DNS and Proxy settings.

I would recommend u to try this only if u are sure that u are a professional , otherwise contact the internet operator or a computer service person.

If you are using windows 7--
1) Click on start > All programs> Accessories > Command Prompt ( right click and select " Run As Administrator.")
2) Enter this command----- " netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt " (without quotations.)
3) Press Enter
4) Reboot your Pc
If it works its nice. otherwise contact the service person( Highly recommended).

Check your PC's time & date setting... if it's too far in the past then no security certificates will be valid and most pages won't load
