I am currently looking to actually get into the IT field. I have been fixing and playing with computers for a long time now. I did a little work with a Network engineer helping him migrate a small business to cloud computing and setting up work stations, shared drives, etc. I really enjoyed it and would love to actually work on computers instead of doing construction and working on PCs on the side. I wouldn't want to do a BS in Comp Science as being stuck inside a cubical all day isn't for me.
Thats a little about me now down to the brass tax of the question
Is getting a BS in Information technology better than just getting compTIA,Cisco, Microsoft certs and some form of work experience?
THANKS FOR YOUR TIME!
also not working during any avenue is out of the question i still have rent food an etc to handle. would be looking to online degrees
