BSOD 0x000000ef Windows 8.1

Hello!
I have recently been getting the BSOD 0x000000ef after around 3-4 hours of gaming. It usually says on the error screen "CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED". This has just started recently. I can run sfc /scannow and it will fix the problem for a couple of days. Then, it will happen again. How can I fix this?

My specs are as follows:
Asus Z87-A motherboard
Intel i7-4770K cpu
8GB of corsair ddr3 ram
MSI GTX 770
128gb Samsung 840 SSD
1TB Seagate HDD
Windows 8.1

All Windows operating systems can be infected by viruses. Check your computer for viruses by using any up-to-date virus scanning software. Better use "Malwarebytes" for Malware scan and "Bitdefender Antivirus" for virus check.

I used Malwarebytes and removed something (ps.exe). I'll keep you posted if that fixed it or not. Thanks for the help!

Just got the BSOD again for the first time since this was posted. Malwarebytes detected nothing with a quick scan.

have you updated your windows?
And do a System Restore to a date before BSOD started popping up if updating doesn't solve the problem.
