Hi all,

I hope I'm posting this on th right forum. Lately I've been getting constant blue screen with the error 0xa00001. I've only noticed this when running the game Sims 4. However Walking Dead season 1, plays just fine for hours without crashing. I've already updated my gpu drivers to the latest.

My setup is as follows.
CPU: Intel core i7 2600K
MB: Asus P8P67 PRO
GPU: AMD Radeon HD 7950 3GB GDDR5
HDD: Hitachi HDT725032VLA360
SSD: Samsung SSD 830 Series
PSU: Cooler master Silent Pro 600w
My recent minidumps:

I hope someone can help me.

Kind regards

I'm not hugely experienced with BSOD, but my initial question would be what PSU you have? Looking at other articles, a common cause for this is an underpowered GPU.

According to your Minidumps, the main cause for BSOD is "atikmdag.sys", which is usually due to an old driver version, but as you said, you've updated. The next most common cause is usually due to a corrupted registry. I'd recommend uninstalling the driver completely, then reinstalling it to fix any registry problems.

Hi there

PSU is CoolMaster Silent Pro 600W
GPU is AMD Radeon HD 7950 GDDR5 3GB

I've made sure my wiring were good, they were. Re-installing AMD Catalyst Control Center didn't work either. I've this tool to remove all the AMD drivers prior installing AMD drivers.
