BSOD after overclocking CPU. need some help

Hey,

First time making a post so if i missed anything let me know but yeah like the title says I'm in need of some help! I over clocked my CPU to 4 ghz after following a guide. After over clocking i used the intelburntest and it passed and seemed stable with temps of 80 to 83 at max load.
However at random my pc will blue screen, sometimes i can play DayZ for hours with no issues then other times it can bcod within 20 minutes. When i turn my pc back on I get the blue screen bccode: a

mobo: Asus P6X58D-E

processor: I7 920 CPU (d0 chip)

Solution
You could go up on your vcore 0.05 and that would probably solve the problem of BSOD. Unfortunately that might increase your temps to unsafe levels as you're already a little borderline. I would either decrease the overclock or go with a more effective cooling solution.

Thank you for the advice iateab, I will increase my vcore to 1.275 and see what the temps are looking like; what settings would you recommend to decrease in the bios if they are 2 high? sorry i'm a noob

edit: temps were 85-90 oc after 6 runs of intelburntest(decided to stop after 1 core hit 90)
