Hey guys, my issue is something I have never experienced before in that I can't even get a OS installed to troubleshoot. The problem being that each time I go to install windows it makes it to different spots in the process, sometimes loading windows files, sometimes while installing, but the furthest it ever makes it to is "Expanding windows files" at about 15 percent. Each time it fails the error is different, varying from missing .sys files and different STOP errors. I have tried clearing the CMOS, resetting defaults and optimized settings, different hard drives, different methods of installing (from usb in legacy and UEFI as well as by disc) and can confirm the disc I have does work.

Here are my specs:
Mobo: Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3P
Mem: Patriot Viper Extreme PX38G1600C11 (8gb)
CPU: AMD FX 8320
550 Watt PSU
Video: Radeon HD 6850
2TB WD Hard Drive @ 5400 rpm

Thanks folks!

If you are sure that the integrity of your installation image is OK, my best guess is that it is motherboard problem.

On the other hand, you may download Windows 7 image and try it (you'll have to use the Windows Key you possess to activate it).
