BSOD and system freeze

A newly system randomly (or so it seems) generates BSOD and occasional system freeze.
Looking for your thoughts and guidance that can help me resolve this.

MOBO: Asus P8Z68-V Pro
MEM: G.Skill 2x4GB DDR3 1600 F3-12800 RipJaw Edition
CPU: i7 2600K
GPU: Asus EAH6970 DCII/2DI4S/2GD5
PSU: Corsair TX 650W V2
SYS Drive: OCZ Agility 3 AGT3-25SAT3-120G SATA III SSD
DATA Drive: WD Caviar Black 2TB SATA III WD2002FAEX
OS: Win 7 Ultimate 64 bit

run memtest to see if its a memory problem--sometimes you have to go in the bios and set the memory timings and voltage manually

Download CPU-Z and check the memory tab. Is your memory really running at 1600mhz? Is the voltage and timings set correctly?

I don't know what would the right or wrong BIOS settings would be for the memory. Can you please suggest values?

There is a sticker on the memory that tells you what the required specs are.
