BSOD at startup the reboots..

I have a problem here that when I start my computer when the windows xp is loading suddenly bsod appears then the computer reboots.. but when i logged into safe mode the bsod doesn't appear any more. What should i do to start my pc normally?

Hi,

Did you update or install anything new such as drivers or windows update? This might be caused by something start with the windows (Normal Mode) as for safe mode it starts with minimum things running (No drivers and some other software's, sorry don't remember clearly as it is been a while since I had to visit Safe mode 😛).

If you think there something installed or update, remove it and try to log into windows in normal mode.

how can i remove them?

Hi,

Sorry for late reply. While on safe mode go to Control panel and try to uninstall them from there if they have a software like AMD Crimson or check this link it will guide you of how to remove them.

well my hard drive on this computer that has bsod, i used it on another computer then when i returned it to its original pc the bsod begins.. i did not install any programs on this hard disk

Hi,

As I said before the Safe mode loads with minimum things:
1- Most device drivers are not loaded upon startup, only those essential for primary function.
2- Windows loads in VGA graphics mode with a smaller color palette and resolution.
3- Safe Mode does not run many files including autoexec.bat and config.sys.
4- In Safe Mode, Windows tests the extended memory before loading.
5- Instead of using the standard system.ini file, Windows boots using a batch file called system.cb that allows Windows to communicate with system hardware via Virtual Device Drivers.

Before we start, did you have this issue before? Is it new SSD? What brand is it (Segate, SanDisk, A-Data....)?
