BSOD atikmdag.sys Driver-irql-not-less-or-equal

I have an RX 480 (NOT OC'd) and I have the latest drivers, all old versions have been removed. And when I play the game Tower Unite, I will be ok for about 5 min or so, and then the screen will flicker black, and then eventually it will give a fatal error (not bsod yet) and then a while after that fatal error from the game, the monitor will do the same thing it did before, but then bluescreen and I didn't get the chance to mark the exact code, but I do know that it gave me DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL and said that the problem was atikmdag.sys.
I have tried the thing where you go to C:\AMD and find the atikmdag.sy_ but I can't find that file.
and DO NOT tell me I need to update mobo drivers, I already checked the most recent ones and installed them, but otherwise the other drivers are from 2014 and I already have them and they obviously aren't updated.

Specs:
MSI 760GM-P34 (FX)
AMD FX-6300 (not OC'd)
XFX RX480 GTR Black Edition (not OC'd)
8GB DDR3 RAM Corsair
1 TB HDD
500GB SSD Samsung
CX600M
(and btw cooling is fine temps stay well below limits)

I have NOT tried playing any other games yet but I will update this if it does happen with another game.

Any help is appreciated this is extremely frustrating and I feel like smashing something.

*I just tested CS:GO and I did not get any problems, but I did get considerably lower fps than normal (about 70-90 fps and this is with AA and stuff off)
