This has been happening since I built my new PC couple weeks ago. Whenever im gaming at random times the computer will lock up with a BSOD, and reboot. I've tried different versions of drivers, disabled over clocking, checked all the internal CPU fans, and i'm pretty much running out of ideas now as to why this is happening. BSOD doesn't happen when I watch netflix, or youtube. Only when playing archeage or diablo 3. Any, and all help is greatly appreciated.

this might help or give you a better idea. dump file analyzed by whocrashed:

This was probably caused by the following module: hal.sys (hal+0x12A3B)
Bugcheck code: 0x124 (0x0, 0xFFFFFA800D13B028, 0xBE000000, 0x100110A)

Bug check description: This bug check indicates that a fatal hardware error has occurred. This bug check uses the error data that is provided by the Windows Hardware Error Architecture (WHEA).
This is likely to be caused by a hardware problem problem. This problem might be caused by a thermal issue.
A third party driver was identified as the probable root cause of this system error. It is suggested you look for an update for the following driver: hal.sys .

You have a very new CPU, I would look for a BIOS update even though your BIOS is pretty current.
I would also install the intel chipset updates directly from intel https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?DwnldID=20775

bugs and fixes to CPUs are done in microcode changes in the BIOS or by a driver that is installed during boot (mcupdate_GenuineIntel.dll) for intel CPUs your update is from 2010.

that is the only driver type of issues that I see that could cause this problem. All the other causes would be hardware, (fan, thermal problems, voltage settings to cpu incorrect)
The CPU was not overclocked when the bugcheck occured and I did not see overclocking software so do the BIOS and chipset update and retest to see if it fails.

Thanks for the replies guys. I ran a stress test on my video card and hard drive both, but there was no problems with either. I went ahead and wiped my CMOS, updated the bios, did a fresh format of win7, and got updated drivers for everything. I hope this solves my problem, and if not then i'm sure you'll be hearing from me again. Gonna download some games, and do some testing on stability.
