I was just watching a video when my Desktop PC suddenly made some beeping noises, then WHAM!
A Blue Screen appeared which said:
[A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.
MEMORY_MANAGEMENT
If this is the first time you’ve seen this Stop error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps:
Check to make sure any new hardware or software is properly installed. If this is a new installation, ask your hardware or software manufacturer for any windows updates you might need.
If problems continue, disable or remove any newly installed hardware or software. Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing. If you need to use Safe Mode to remove or disable components, restart your computer, press F8 to select Advanced Startup Options, and then select Safe Mode.
Technical information:
***STOP: 0x0000001A (0x0000000000041790, 0xFFFFFA8000F61BF0, 0x000000000000FFFF, 0x0000000000000000)
Collecting data for crash dump …
Initializing disk for crash dump …
Beginning dump of physical memory.
Dumping physical memory to disk: 100 ]
Since then, I can only reach till Welcome screen.
I tried the following but to no avail:
>Restarted the PC - Same result
>Opened Safe Mode - Goes till the Mouse cursor appears, Blue Screen then restarts automatically
>Startup repair - Uses System Restore but BSOD appears after 'Attempting repairs'.
After pressing F8:
>Enable Boot Logging - Blue Screen appears after Welcome Screen
>Last Good known configuration - Same Result
As far as I know, there was no newly installed Hardware or Software on my PC (I did installed my HP Printer driver 2 weeks ago). Also, before this happened, the PC was running for 10 hours continuously.
If this helps, here's my PC specs:
-Intel Core i3 -3.70 GHz Processor
-Foxconn Motherboard
-4.00 GB RAM
-64-Bit OS
-Windows 7 Ultimate
-2 extra cooling fans
-500 GB HDD (Western Digital)
Please help ASAP. Thanks in Advance.
