BSOD cause: Overclokcing or Driver issue?

I keep getting BSOD'ed

MOBO: Asrock Fatal1ty Z97 Killer/3.1
CPU: i5 4690K Overcloked to 4.4 GHz (Vcore= 1.25V)

Could it be due to relatively high OC Freq and and not enough Voltage?
I think I should be getting a different BSOD for that.

The LAN interface mentioned is the fancy "Killer NIC e2200" used as a regular AR 8161 to avoid the useless killer app that slows down the network by failing to enhance it :)

Could it be a driver issue?

well yes I would think so remove the overclocking get it stable for a week or so then slowly up it when you hit problems then down it to a stable overclock but you have not changed the vcore and there is no mention of cooling or temperatures which is a key element when overclocking I am no expert on intel but from what I have done with AMD there is a limited amount of performance gain and I see far more benefit in using MSI overclocker for my GPU you do not need an msi card and can see the results but do not push it too hard 50 - 25mhz at a time you will see a big performance bost and stop before it shows signs of tearing or dots I think I have my r9 280 about 200Mhz overclock and I am happy with that remember overclocking shortens the life of the product but mine has been like that for the past 3-4 years sorry for the long post.
 


Thanks again, well temps cannot be a problem, it happens when not really under heavy load and I have a thermalright macho, keeping in well under 40° C in idle and around / under 70°C during high loads.

I might have been a bit exaggerating about "keep getting BSOD-ed" It happened 4-5 times in the last 6 months.
