BSOD caused by ntoskrnl.exe

I really need help with this because everything i end up trying doesn't really work i'm not entirely sure if i'm just bad at doing this or not but i really need help with this. This has only started happening a few weeks ago but my computer just started blue screening for no reason and i'm not sure why. Thanks in advanced

Right at the top there's 4 entries. 2 for ntoskrnl.

The bottom 2 under them are the video drivers - nvlddmkm.sys

ntoskrnl wont be the cause. Something is making it crash - probably the video drivers

ntoskrnl wont be the cause. Something is making it crash - probably the video drivers

So i performed a clean install of my graphics drivers but my computer just blue screened fairly recently and it said DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION. So im still not sure what to do. Is there anyone who can help me

Did you get the drivers on a cd or from the Nvidia site? If cd, uninstall them again

Like stated in the forums that i shared, the drivers from the website, unfortunately, are the bugged drivers. You will continue to get that bluescreen until you uninstall the drivers with DDU in safe mode, then allow windows update to update the driver to (NVIDIA - Display23.21.13.8813).

If you use the device manager to search and re-install the drivers, it will install the latest drivers, which NVIDIA has advised are bugged drivers.


Also would like to point out that another solution has seemed to fix the problem for someone else, here, stated by, bohdan.tsemra.

None of these suggestions worked and im still not sure whats causing my computer to bluescreen

If your not sure what is causing the crash then use a program like whocrashed to analyze the mini dumps.

If you find out that it is the nvidia drivers, there is no current permanent solution for this as nvidia is working on it.

This is what i found on whocrashed. But its also saying that ntoskrnl caused it a couple days ago
