So I have no idea what's going on with my computer. I usually have no problem troubleshooting simple or intermediate issues, but this one really takes the cake.

The issue started yesterday. I was busy installing my new TV yesterday, when I looked over at my monitor nearby and it had a blue screen of death. I restarted my computer, only to find that the monitor wouldn't even recognize a signal anymore. I'm not entirely sure how I managed to get past it yesterday, but after several restarts the machine finally came back on and after a couple of more restarts it loaded Windows properly.

I leave my tower expose for reasons of excess cordage and ventilation so of course today my eight month old son reached up and pulled my red SATA cable off of my hard drive which caused the entire computer to crash. now I'm back to the same issue. The computer refuses to recognize the monitor at the moment and I tried every single cable I can think of to make sure they're properly seated including the Sata cable for the hard drive. I'll even receded the graphics card to make sure that that wasn't a problem.

Right now I'm using my phone to communicate, so bear with me. The minor repairs the light up and everything appears to have power running to it including the hard drive and a graphics card. Although fans are running. I did not get a post beep the computer started. I have no idea what to do now except continue to wiggle the cable and and restart the computer until maybe it snaps out of it or something.

Solution
Fixed it.

Turns out my dumb monkey self needs to clean my tower more often. Dust caked on one of the RAM chips was causing a problem. Cleaned and reseated them, no problems.

+1 to Toms Hardware No-Post troubleshooting guide for handing me the solution.
