Question BSOD dpc watchdog violation

Hi, I'm having trouble with a newly purchased laptop. It has frozen on me multiple times during normal usage (not gaming or watching videos, just regular file access and word processor work), and also displayed a DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION error on the BSOD. Any insight into what's going on?

RMA the laptop, most likely faulty

Yeah, if its new just take back to whomever you bought it and ask them to fix or replace it.
It would be under warranty easy.
Shouldn't get BSOD on a new laptop.
Freezing shows it might be hardware.
