Hello!
I keep getting the blue screen of Driver Power State Failure and I don't know how I can fix it. I have updated drivers with Driver Easy (manually) ran sfc, CHKDSK.

Acer Nitro 5
Model AN515 -51
Bios version: V1.13
Microsoft Windows 10 Home 64-bit
Intel(R) Core (TM) i5 - 7300HQ CPU @ 2.50 Ghz
Memory RAM: 8gb
Graphics Device 1: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050
Graphics Device 2: Intel(R) HD Graphics 630

This is the report from WhoCrashed:

On Mon 2019-10-21 9:01:22 PM your computer crashed or a problem was reported
crash dump file: C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\102119-46187-01.dmp
This was probably caused by the following module: ntoskrnl.exe (nt+0x1C1220)
Bugcheck code: 0x9F (0x3, 0xFFFF8A05853C9060, 0xFFFFFC812B63F7B0, 0xFFFF8A058D0CB010)
Error: DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE
file path: C:\WINDOWS\system32\ntoskrnl.exe
product: Microsoft® Windows® Operating System
company: Microsoft Corporation
description: NT Kernel & System
Bug check description: This bug check indicates that the driver is in an inconsistent or invalid power state. A device object has been blocking an IRP for too long a time.
This is likely to be caused by a hardware problem.
The crash took place in the Windows kernel. Possibly this problem is caused by another driver that cannot be identified at this time.

I also started Windows in Safe Mode to run Device Manager and some devices have exclamation mark: Generic PnP Monitor, Qualcomm Atheros QCA61x4A Wireless Network Adapter, Microsoft GS Wavetable Synth, Realtek High Definition Audio (SST), Microsoft Hyper-V Virtualization Infrastructure Driver.

Driver Easy doesn't show those devices need to be uptated. I read some posts on your forum and found out I shoudn't rely on Driver Easy...
I checked Acer community website and I cannot tell if any of links with updates are those I need to install....
https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/support-product/7312?b=1

I would be thankful if you could help me fix it.
Let me know if there is some more information you want me to provide.
I'm sorry if I did some grammar mistakes... English is not my 1st language.

Regards,
Greg

Whocrashed does what it says, it shows what crashed, very rarely does it actually show the reason why. ntoskrnl is its favourite cause, as its the windows kernel and since it is responsible for so much, when it gets asked to do something it cannot, it crashes.

Can you go to C:\WINDOWS\Minidump
copy the files from there to a new folder
upload copies from new folder to a file sharing web site and show link here

Dumps will show what you are running and then we can compare against the Acer link. Dump file might also show us what cause was directly.

Looking at device manager in safe mode will always show some devices without drivers as only windows drivers work in safe mode, no drivers for extra devices that don't come with windows 10. So those warnings may not mean a great deal :)

I don't recommend 3rd party driver tools like Driver easy as they can and will install the wrong drivers. It has happened to me in the past.

If you want new Atheros drivers - Download these: https://support.killernetworking.com/download/killer-drivers-installation-64bit/

This is likely to be caused by a hardware problem.
Possibly this problem is caused by another driver that cannot be identified at this time.
That's some conflicting cause WhoCrashed gives.

All dumps are very similar and it looks like the nvidia display driver is causing issues.
Could you try the Acer version of the nvidia driver, it is a bit dated but it's just a test to see if things improve.

Hello!
I switched to Nvidia card and set maximum performance plus I went to Device Manager, then Realtek PCIe GbE Family Controller power management and disabled "allow the computer to turn off this device to save power". It was before I got your reply just to do some test and everything was ok for another 1 or 2 days. After that I switched to integrated graphic card and everything was fine for 1,5 day and got BSOD again. I was using laptop for another 3 days till today when I got 3 BSODs within 30 min while I was reading some articles on Internet.
I will add link with new "dump files". Could you look into it please? What else I can do to fix that blue screen problem?
Thank you!
