Question (BSOD) DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE ntoskrnl.exe ?

normally the ryzen master driver would not cause a power state failure bugcheck. If i was betting money, i would assume it would be caused by the sound effects driver from AVoluteSS3Vad.sys
I think it is installed as asus sonic studio mixer driver.
i believe i downloaded it while downloading drivers for the motherboard and i remember turning it off because it was extremely annoying
i removed it so hopefully that was it

last memory dump was on
Tue Feb 25 23:16:59.177 2025
you should provide a updated version if you are still getting a bugcheck.
best to provide a kernel dump (memory.dmp file)

sorry i took a whole month to reply but being honest i wanted to give up so much on this pc
i wasnt really home as well
i had to buy a new keyboard because i cant force crash on my main one? for some reason
i made 2 minidumps where the bigger one (dont know why) is 12 minutes older

https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1aQ3IZO4Mb9H5EASl5Kww7kdBSK3RbmOw?usp=drive_link

051425-13656-01.dmp - was made before software updates
051425-14375-01.dmp - was made 12 mins after the updates

no logs contained in a minidump. kernel dump saves the logs.
since these were manually initiated dumps they really do not show any problems other than the same driver issues,
kernel dumps will provide info on usb, and plug and play as well as the logs.

I see lots of third party drivers, and about 18 norton drivers
you might consider turning on verifier to get windows to bugcheck on actual driver errors and work through the problems.

change the memory dump type to kernel, then provide memory.dmp file (gets over written each memory dump )

kernel dump is needed to figure out some power state failures.
file is memory.dmp

i realized my mistake but another thing to notice is that
when i crashed the pc i didnt even get the bsod, it immediately froze is that normal?

wow, you have asus armory crate installed. I would remove it and all of its extra parts after you have updated. Then make sure and go in ad disable it in BIOS. (I would set up your fan control in bios)

ArmouryCrate.exe
ArmouryCrate.Service.exe
ArmourySocketServer.exe
ArmouryCrate.UserSessionHelper.exe
ArmouryHtmlDebugServer.exe
asus_framework.exe
AsusCertService.exe
ArmourySwAgent
ASUS DriverHub (not sure what that is)
dipawaymode.exe part of asus ai suite
various ram programs:

AacKingstonDramHal_x64.exe

Aac3572DramHal_x86.exe

sometimes these RAM light controls will conflict with the corsair software. (check for firmware updates)

note: still have two copies of CorsairLLAccess64.sys running from different directories.

i have deleted armoury crate and all of its parts (i think atleast) and set automatic download in BIOS off
but im not sure what about those ram programs because i couldnt find them with autoruns or anywhere honestly
i would like to note that the BIOS time and booting take quite a long time usually 33 seconds (bascially twice as long as when i made the pc) with orange led on motherboard lit up most of that time
ive done complete clean resintall of ICUE so there shouldnt be 2 copies of CorsairLLAccess64.sys

update: even after removing every file related to corsair with 2 copies included and fresh restart of ICUE it seems that the 2 copies are back?

here are the two locations that the driver was being loaded from:
C:\Program Files\Corsair\Corsair Device Control Service\bin\CorsairLLAccess64.sys Mon Feb 5 01:17:49 2024

C:\Program Files\Corsair\Corsair iCUE5 Software\CorsairLLAccess64.sys Thu Jul 25 00:15:07 2024

for the slow bootup: you might turn on windows verbose logging and maybe it can help tell you what it is waiting on.

https://www.thewindowsclub.com/enable-verbose-status-message-windows

I normally only use it for slow shutdowns but it might for slow restarts.

you might go into task manager: (delete this)
Win>Task Scheduler>Task Scheduler Library>ASUS>EZUpdate right-click and delete.

you should check if (aura)
LightingService.exe conflicts with icue software

note:
amdsafd.sys is in D3, other drivers are at D0
some files might be running out of a hidden directory.
or they might me memory mapped files.
this tool should be able to show them.

well im not sure what else to be done other then those so heres updated kernel dump
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1Q8-0QSGRY5zCQvXmIS-0MP51hF9kFYIr?usp=sharing
also i believe there will be 2 copies of CorsairLLAccess64.sys because both appear when i download icue

i checked the files with processexplorer and nothing catched my eye other then bunch of microsoft stuff
the pc still crashes
is it possible to figure out with kernel dump what pc component could be bad if it could be the case?

edit: modified windows files have guard page modification.
this might be due to prevent access to a ryzen cpu bug.
(so it might be normal) kind of hard to find amd cpu known bug list.

you might consider doing a wipe, and reinstall windows from a clean install download.

the debugger complains about your windows files as being modified. Lots of processes paged out to the pagefile.sys.

if you do not wipe, I would run cmd.exe as an admin then
run
dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

then turn off virtual memory to delete the pagefile.sys, then you can turn it back on to make a new file.

if you do clean install, just install a clean current windows image from a thumb drive. Then install your cooler software. do not install any of the asus utilities, just set the fans in bios for max speed.
do not install the ryzenmaster driver, do the windows updates and only install motherboard drivers that you know are required.

after this, see if the system is stable.

if you do not reinstall, then go ahead and dump the pagefile.sys, and run the dism command. You have drivers installed that get attacked by malware. I would then run verifier.exe flags and work through the bugchecks.
you might consider google "how to make windows delete the pagefile.sys on system shutdown" then make the registry change and do shutdowns and see if the system is more stable. Malware that infects pagefile.sys will have to reinfect the pagefile.

in any case delete your current pagefile.sys and make another one.

here is a tool that can help fix problems with not being able to uninstall your cosair driver:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us...-removed-cca7d1b6-65a9-3d98-426b-e9f927e1eb4d

i noticed that when you reinstalled the corsair drivers, one driver dated changed and the other did not. ie one driver was installed and I think the other just was not removed. Most likely it had a running service and would not uninstall.
i dunno whats going on anymore
i have completely wiped whole pc clean + fresh windows install
the only thing i downloaded was steam (with 3 games),discord, spotify, opera and signalrgb (to be able to change the fans colors + ram in one go without downloading all those softwares like masterplus or ICUE) theres literally nothing else on this pc yet it still crashes
i feel like it could be issue with one of the pc parts but which one?
