I am having random BSOD after what seems this windows 10 update I updated to on 6/15. That might not be related at all but only thing I can think of. It seems to happen very randomly for example I played a game for hours and browsed the web an nothing that day. Then today, used chrome for like 40 minutes when it BSOD then rebooted and 5 minutes later it BSOD. I cant see to find the correlation.
I have checked and verified that my bios is updated, which it already was, and ran the windows memory diagnostic which detected no errors. Also checked around the case and cleaned it. I know it may be driver related but I have tried updating.

My specs:
AMD FX-8350 (no overclock)
GTX 770 (no overclock but custom fan curve via CAM software)
Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3
kingston 24gb RAM (2x8gb & 2x4gb)
Corsair 1050w psu

Hey there.

This error means your computer is shutting itself down to prevent data loss. It's a hardware issue.

If you recently installed Win 10, I would make sure that all of your drivers are completely up to date and also update your BIOS.

Is there any way I can figure out which part of hardware? I have had win 10 for a long time now. And, my bios doesn't have any update. I have tried to update my drivers maybe missing some? Is there a better way to update all my drivers to see if they are updated?

Hi, do not use one of those programs that auto-update all of your drivers. You may very well regret it as they are often wrong and cause more issues.

From my limited knowledge I would say that this appears to be a CPU issue. Consider doing some CPU tests. I think http://www.memtest86.com/ has a built in CPU test.

Here are the results I got: https://pastebin.com/hfwyUtrg

I am noticing the following info:
[fixed]Probably caused by : AuthenticAMD
Error : ICACHEL1_IRD_ERR (Proc 0 Bank 1)[/fixed]
Good info:

https://www.google.com/search?q=ICACHEL1_IRD_ERR&btnG.x=0&btnG.y=0

I am no expert on dump files or hardware. Wait for replies from others. In the meantime, consider doing the CPU test and posting the results here. Good luck.

Thanks for your post. I did the test you mentioned which ran a while and it passed without any errors. In the meantime I will try prime95 until I get any other suggestions.
