Last night I was doing a full scan using Malwarebytes to see if I had any trojans/virusses on my PC, just because Microsoft Security Essentials does not always detect everything. But during the full scan I thought; this is going to take a while so let's play a game. I opened up Metro Last Light (which btw has awefull preformance on my HD 6950). I noticed the game already lagged in the main menu, but I was being stupid and decided to click play anyway. The game froze, I alt-tab'ed and then all of the sudden I get a blue screen.
Metro was only just intalled, I pirated the game to see if the preformance was good enough on my PC. I uninstalled the game directly.
I was wondering if I should be worried about this BSOD. Could this mean a hardware issue? Or was this just my own fault because I shouldn't have run the game AND the full check with Malwarebytes? I've read more people seem to have BSOD issues running that program.
