Hi,

I bought a new prebuilt PC about a week ago and after the second day I’ve had this BSoD error around 10 times. I’ve tried to fix it by using different drivers (for both my mouse and WIFI USB adapter) but it keeps happening.
It seems like something different causes it each time but here’s a list of things that has caused it so far (that I can remember):
  • Opening a new game
  • Changing graphics settings mid game
  • Extracting a ZIP file to my downloads
  • Alt + tab between applications

I was wondering if anyone knew how I could potentially fix this without having to send it back or if I’m going to have to send it back.

Thanks.

Solution
CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT
is usually associated with unstable CPU clocks and\or voltages.
you can try resetting BIOS to Optimized Defaults and see if it clears up the issue.
