BSOD error definition?

I was cleaning up previous installations that I didn't use from the control panel and all of a sudden I got this blue screen. I have the PC for nearly 4 years and I haven't had any problems. I took a picture of the error code (attached image)http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/542/b21k.jpg/. After a bit of browsing (after restarting my PC) I stumbled upon various threads stating that an error like this is due to outdated drivers. I updated all of my drivers,but the issue is why I got this in the first place and am I going to have more errors like this one?

Might take a look at start up and see if anything new in there, might also scan for Malware (Malware BYtes has a free edition)
