Hi ,
My desktop is an inspiron 580. 5.5 years old with ATI Radeon HD 5450 1GB DDR3, 750GB SATA
4GB (2X2GB) DDR3 SDRAM 1333MHz Memory
Memory has been upgraded to 8gb long back. i had added an old sata HDD from another old desktop also long back.

I have been having the BSOD for a couple of weeks now.
Called a technician and he suggested that my graphics card maybe the problem so i changed my graphics card with a Nvidia geforce 210.

However, i keep having the same problems with the sudden crashes and importantly more crashes when the computer has been left alone for longer hours ( eg i forget to shut down at night , and in the morning it is off on its own, then on restart i have the BOSD)

It seems to startup and work time to time but i keep getting sluggish speed, BOSDs, and loud whirring of the fans(dunno if it has been a problem)

SO couple of things i did:
1. cleaned the fans and the overall insides
2. disconnected the old HDD i had added

Still i have the same issues.
