So I’ve been getting blue screens the past couple of days and idk what else to do, I’ve tried different solutions I’ve seen online and so far nothing. I ended up reinstalling windows twice, once keeping files and the second time i did a clean install, and it has still been happening. The BSOD stop code is "system_thread_exception_not_handled". I figured reinstalling windows would fix the issue...could it be my gpu?

System specs

i7-6700k
msi gtx 1070
msi z170A Krait gaming 3x
corsair 16gb ram

Do you have latest BIOS for motherboard?

Download LIve Update 6 from the utility page of website and use it to update drivers on motherboard - https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/Z170A-KRAIT-GAMING-3X#down-driver&Win10 64

Can you follow option one on the following link - here - and then do this step below: Small memory dumps - Have Windows Create a Small Memory Dump (Minidump) on BSOD

that creates a file in c windows/minidump after the next BSOD
copy that file to documents
upload the copy from documents to a file sharing web site, and share the link here and I will get someone to convert file into a format I can read

Hi, I ran the 1st memory.dmp file through the debugger and got the following information: https://pste.eu/p/DJXK.html

File information:MEMORY.DMP - Copy.part (Jun 11 2019 - 20:35:57)
Bugcheck:SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION (3B)
Probably caused by:win32kfull.sys (Process: Battle.net.exe)
Uptime:1 Day(s), 0 Hour(s), 11 Min(s), and 23 Sec(s)

Comment: The overclocking driver "IOCBios2.sys" was found on your system. (Intel Extreme Tuning Utility)

Comment: The overclocking driver "RTCore64.sys" was found on your system. (MSI Afterburner)

Possible Motherboard page: https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/Z170A-KRAIT-GAMING-3X.html
There is a BIOS update available for your system (version 2.B). You are using version 2.5. Wait for additional information before deciding to update or not. Important: Verify that I have linked to the correct motherboard. Updating your BIOS can be risky. Never try it when you might lose power (lightning storms, recent power outages, etc).

This information can be used by others to help you. I can't help you with this. Someone else will post with more information. Please wait for additional answers. Good luck.

try setting up minidumps, the files created are only 256kb, not as big as actual dump files. Easier to handle then.

this is too old - if it is an updater, remove as you don't need it
Dec 14 2009 DrvAgent64.SYS DriverAgent Direct I/O 64-bit driver (Phoenix Technologies)
from what I can tell its a 3rd party driver updater

update this as well
Aug 14 2014 vbaudio_cable64_win7.sys VB Virtual Audio Device driver https://www.vb-audio.com/

update Nvidia drivers as I have seen win32kfull.sys crashes associated with their drivers before. Win32kfull.sys is part of windows kernel.

Bios update could help since you 5 behind. Video at top of bios page showing you how to install it.
